Mission Statement:
The Hoosic River Watershed Association is dedicated to the restoration, conservation, and enjoyment of the Hoosic River and its watershed, through education, research, and advocacy. We envision a watershed that is ecologically sound and adds to the quality of life of its residents.

Description of Service:
We are a river advocacy group, looking out for the health of the river through river monitoring; education programs and recreation events; promoting access, trails, boating, and fishing; and working with private, nonprofit and government agencies to maintain and restore river quality.

Other Information:
The Hoosic watershed encompasses 720 square miles in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York. The river is a tributary of the Hudson. Much more about HooRWA and the Hoosic River is available at www.hoorwa.org.

Donations Needed:
We need volunteers to help with everything from taking water samples to directing traffic at Riverfest. Donors who would be interested in underwriting particular projects are encouraged to contact us.
